One of the problems with living in the country is the
lack of cable television. Macon County is lucky in this regard.
Several years ago, North Central Telephone began installing
cable-over-copper lines throughout the county. Today, more than
85% of Macon County, including rural areas, has access to cable
television! NCTC currently provides over 100 channels of digital
